This policy explains how subscriptions, billing, and refunds work on My Transport Times.

1. Overview

My Transport Times offers free features, trials, one-time purchases, and recurring subscription plans. Pricing, billing periods, and included features are shown at the time of purchase.

Payments and subscriptions are handled via third-party providers (Clerk and Stripe). By making a purchase, you also agree to their applicable terms.

2. Free Trials

Free trials may be offered for certain plans. Unless stated otherwise, trials are limited to one per user.

Abuse of the free trial system may result in suspension or termination of your account.

3. Renewals & Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the next billing date.

You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancelling stops future billing but does not retroactively refund previous charges.

4. Refund Policy (UK)

In line with UK consumer law, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

After 7 days, refunds may be issued on a partial basis depending on remaining time, usage, and account status. All refunds are assessed fairly and reasonably.

Refunds will not be issued for amounts under £2.50.

One-time purchases are treated as single billing periods and follow the same rules.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Accounts banned or suspended for Terms of Service violations
  • Service misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity
  • Forgotten cancellations or renewal charges
  • Downtime, maintenance, or feature changes
  • Refunds below the minimum threshold

6. Fair Use & Good Faith

We aim to be fair and reasonable in all cases. If something has gone wrong or you believe a mistake has been made, please contact us before initiating a dispute.

We review all cases in good faith and will try to resolve issues in a sensible and respectful way.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Accounts associated with chargebacks may be permanently restricted. Any outstanding balance must be settled before access can be restored.

8. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Downtime, maintenance, or technical issues do not automatically entitle users to refunds or compensation.

9. Feature Changes

Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time to improve the platform or meet technical and legal requirements.

Where possible, we will provide reasonable notice for significant changes.

10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Processing times typically take 5-10 business days depending on the payment provider.
